FYI:
This machine design has 3 main supporting sections, headstock end, mid machine and tailstock end. They are of cast iron construction with 2 jack screws on the front side and 2 jack screws on the rear side. On the tailstock end only, the rear half of the supporting pad is broken. We have the back piece. The previous owner tried to repair this but was not successful. The front half with the 2 jack screws is good and solid. We are not going to try and repair this. The machine has been test run in our shop and believed to be in good operating order.
